StowCue is a local-first storage and food organization app developed by Vu Tran. This policy explains the current app, this website, and support communications. These are different activities with different data handling.

01. The current app

StowCue does not collect personal data from the app in the current release. It has no account system, cloud sync, analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or remote inventory backend.

Information you enter is stored locally on your device. This includes items and locations, barcodes, notes, aliases, tags, selected or captured photos, food quantities and expiration dates, and app settings.

02. Camera and photos

Camera access lets you scan barcodes and capture photos for items or locations. Photo access lets you choose an existing image when you attach one. You can control these permissions through your device settings.

StowCue does not upload these photos to a StowCue server. They remain in your local app data unless you choose to export or share data, or your operating system includes them in a device backup.

03. Backups and sharing

JSON backup export and import are initiated by you. You choose where an exported file is saved or shared. If you choose a cloud storage or sharing service, that provider handles the file under its own terms.

Your operating system or account provider may back up app data according to your device settings. This is separate from StowCue; StowCue does not operate a cloud sync service. Keep a current export before changing devices or uninstalling.

04. Removing your data

You can delete individual inventory records in the app. Uninstalling removes the app's local container; keep an exported backup first if you need the data. Delete exports, shared copies, and provider-managed backups separately through the relevant service.

There is no StowCue account to delete. We cannot access or recover inventory that exists only on your device.

05. This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting a website involves processing request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Cloudflare processes this information to provide its hosting, network, and security services under its own policies.

We have not added advertising pixels, web analytics, third-party embeds, or a website account system. The site does not set application cookies or use browser storage for advertising or analytics. Hosting security services may process technical information separately from the app.

See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of service data.

06. Support emails

If you email support@stowcue.com, your address, message, and any attachments are processed to respond to your request. Incoming mail is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the developer's support inbox, hosted by an email provider. Those services also process the message under their own policies.

Only send information needed to explain the issue. Do not send passwords, verification codes, full inventory backups, or sensitive photos. Support messages are kept while needed to address the request and maintain relevant support records; you may ask us to delete your correspondence, subject to applicable obligations and provider backup retention.

07. Changes to this policy

If the app later adds accounts, sync, analytics, crash reporting, ads, or another remote service, we will update this policy and the relevant store disclosures before releasing that change. The effective date above identifies this version.

08. Questions or requests

Contact Vu Tran, the StowCue developer, at support@stowcue.com for privacy questions or requests about support correspondence. Please do not include personal inventory in your initial message.
